Since 1960 Topps has awarded players (usually one for each position and two pitchers) the Topps Rookie Cup award. During that time, most base Topps cards have featured the trophy on the player’s card issued for the next year after the award was won by the player.

I started collecting autographs of the winners and focused on the catchers at the beginning. The more I started researching the winners the more I enjoyed the pursuit and decided to expand to all the winners. This website is a tribute to these players.
